you cant at walmart, the only way is to get cash back off your debit card, once you purchase something, and then it would be up to 100.00 back. walgreens , safeway, etc...they only let you get 40.00 cash back off debit card...OH yokes and other grocery stores will let you write a check for 20.00 over...so best to go to a grocery store.

the stores in my area let you write a check for up to 20 bucks over the amount of the purchase.  In case your store is different it would be worth a phone call and ask for the customer service desk.
