Please help! im confused!?

i am doing a science project for school and my group was assigned fish! i cant find one of the answers to a question! ive looked in my science hardcover and on the internet but i cant find it! here it is.....

How do fish interact with the creatures in their environment?

Mainly by being part of the food chain.Some are parasitic others clean the environment all kinds of interactions.See Lampreys,pilot fish,crab,hard shellfish for a few variations.

That's where I'd  tell my kids to start.

That's a pretty general question there toots.  You could narrow it down a lot if you told us which species of fish you're talking about here.
