some of my reason why opening mcdonalds in culcutts is bad are...

- mostly there are hindus and hindus dont eat pork or beef..especially on tues and fri and so on...

- most people there likes to eat cultural foods as india is one of the some countries that follows cultures...

  1. Some more points can be:

The food served is not very healthy and is junk food which increases one's fat.

According to a survey held by a news channel Every 2 child goes to mc donalds everyday and injures its health.

In past years a scientist only lived on junk food by mc d and died because of problems of stomach.

Mc Donalds has already got many branches but some other resturants are also there that serve healthy and delecious food.

    Hope this will help you.

  2. Thank God there's no Mcdonalds in Goa, what I know of anyway..

  3. two more reasons wud be :

if mcdonalds is opened then more citizens of india wud not like to have their traditional food or home- made food. and they all will go to have outside food which may not be good for health.

opening of mcdonalds wud make people fat or not healthy bcoz healthy food is not served in mcdonalds and fatty food like french fries, burgers etc. are served.

hope it helps u . good luck!

  4. it would be too expensive

it would probably take away the bussiness of poorer food store owners making the econmy poor

the value of their religon would slowly wavish becuase no one cook a traditonal indian dinner

  5. Because the food is lousy.

And the entire enterprise is run by a "vast conspiracy" bent upon world domination.  Or at least higher cholesterol levels in the general population

  6. I'm from India and there's already a mcdonalds at my doorstep... but a few suggestions:

    1. McDonalds is an American company and the profits from the sale will go into American pockets... Indians will get employment, but at really low wages compared to their American counterparts... So it will result in a net drain of wealth from India

    2.  Health will obviously get impacted and it will be worse for Indians because it has been scientifically proven that Indians are more prone to heart disease than other ethnic groups

and already nearly 33% of the kids in Indian cities are overweight.

Its Calcutta btw.... Hope this helps you :-D
