Please help :l dose any one know how to upload photos ?

well..i know it sounds dumb i just got a neww "samsung 8.1M.P s860 camra and i keep trying to upload photos from it ,on to the computer and i stick it in the rite slot and and it says "conect to computer" and i click it and nothing pops up on my screen!" :[

please tell me the steps do i need a new cord ?or can i use the memory card to upload? pleas any bit of infurmatin would be nice*

Plug the USB cable into the camera and computer with camera in OFF position....Turn the camera on/to review >>follow onscreen instructions --

Also if your computer has a memory card reader you can remove from camera and insert it into the computer
