Please help me, I don't know why I can't cry.Why can't I cry?

My nana just died today, and myself and my whole familly are really torn up about it, but while everyone else is crying my eyes stay dry. Is there something wrong with me, I mean it's not like I'm not physically able to cry because I have before but I just can't cry right now, why?

i think people have their own time to cope with a loss.

theres nothing wrong with you. some people cry right away and some people dont cry at all.

it doesnt mean you dont care.

its totally normal for some people. i had this same thing. my grandpa and grandma died really close together, near the same times. and i was really sad about it but i never once cried about it. and people kinda thought badly of me cuz i wasnt crying. like i didnt care or miss them. but the truth is i really did miss them. crying was just not my way of showing it. you may just have a hard time expressing your feelings or may just show them differently. dont worry too much its not the big of deal. the time will come for you when it sinks in. maybe you are just in shock. there is many possibilities. and when you can accept it. maybe you will cry and if not then thats ok. dont worry good luck!!! hope this helps!!!.

When my hamster died, I was just like, "Oh my god that's terrible." But then it wasn't until after the little guy was buried when I started bawling my eyes out.
