can any one tell me that in this sentence whether ''hurt'' is in its past tense form or past participle form and why?:'you can get hurt'.

  1. that is in the future tense because it means "you can become hurt" if it was in the past tense it would have been

    "you could have got hurt"

  3. This is past tense. If you say " i have been hurt" then it is past participle

    Shower in the bath: you are wrong. it is in the past tense. saying "you can get hurt" is like saying " you can get killed" and the word killed here is in the past tense. I am sure  Muhammed

    Part of the trouble in understanding the form is that the sentence is very informal. Change it to a more formal sentence and it may be clearer that it's an adjective:

    You may be hurt.
