  1. well that is quite unsual, putting on like 100lbs in a year and a half....

slowly just build ur way up with exercise, start to walk then walk more often then u may eventually be able to jog for that amount of time etc.

  2. Being fit is a life style choice.  Until you reach the place where you are disgusted with you body and tired of being fat you will not make any real lasting changes.  Nobody can do it for you.  You already know what you need to do to lose the weight.  Get moving..walk..run.lift..and MOST importantly control what you eat and HOW much.

Stop eating sugary foods.  Stop drinking sugary drinks.  Eat vegetables, fruit and lean meats.  DO not starve yourself...change the foods you are eating and the quantities.

But, bottom line, until you decide for yourself to make these changes you will remain fat.

Some people choose to be fat because of the attention they get.  But in the end, you would be much happier fit.  Trust me on that.  I was 5'10" and 200 pounds when I decided to change.  I am now 160# and believe it or not 5'11".  Yes.  I grew an inch while working out..and I am 47 years old.  Took me about a year to lose the weight but I have kept it off now for 5 years and am much happier.  I can run miles, swim miles and lift some heavy weights.

I probably don't even need to tell you that the opposite s*x finds me MUCH more appealing now too.

It's worth the change.  Be patient with yourself..you will have set backs..but just press on torward your goals.  You will thank yourself for it.  Good luck!

  3. Ok your pictures aren't showing for me for some reason, I think it's just my computer but anyway. Your BMI is 34.4 and you are meant to be between 18.5-24.9 so you need to lose a bit of weight and be between 130-175 pounds. The range is wide because you are tall. It is healthy to lose 2-3 pounds a week so what you could do is like try to have 1200-1500 calories a day and exercise 3-4 times a week. You could walk, swim, gym or whatever you like doing. Make sure you drink 8 glasses of water a day. It takes time but it's worth it if it will make you feel better about your body!!

    Good Luck :)

  4. I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM

Just try to have 3 main meals a day

For breakfast try some yogurt or fruit as its really filling

    For lunch have a salad

And Dinner try a stir fry

try not to eat anything after 5

and try not to eat alot of meats, bread and potato

  5. Treat yourself, but keep things under control!

Allow yourself up to two “reward” meals per week. This doesn`t mean you cheat, since these meals are planned and you deserve them. Even with a reward meal, you should control portion sizes. I read about this at http://www.projectweightloss.com/index.p...

  6. hemm .. ok .. i have to say this ... you have a gr8 hight 5"10 and u look really s**y .. but sweety .. u need to lose weight .. and i am sure i would be even more s**y then ..

ok u love to eat .. here is what u need to do .. all the diet plans tell u if u want to lose weight .. eat more meals .. 5 meals a day .. but smaller portions .. and the main idea take care of how many calories u r taking in .. thats all .. and the 5 meals will stop u from getting hungry .. plus your stomich will get used to smaller portions .. meaning u will not feel hungry as much ..

    good luck ..

  7. Look on Phentermine site -

Phentermine is used, in combination with diet and exercise,to help you lose weight. It works by decreasing your appetite. This medication is sometimes prescribed for other uses; ask your doctor or pharmacist for more information.

  8. In volleyball and for volleyball, we had to do sets. This are what we did in them.

    Set 1:

    - Run from line to line (about 3 or 4 meters) for 2 minutes at a time. Set a goal for your self!

    - Jumping Jacks (20 or 30)

    - Cartwheels (really easy)

    Set 2: (Core)

    - 10 Sit Ups

    - 10 Push Ups

    - 10 Crunches

    Set 3:

    - Wall Sits (Pretend to sit with your butt and back on the wall, 5 min each)

    - Sprints

    Good Luck!

  9. Well, it's mental and since you don't see the need to lose weight you won't have any purpose in eating less. Change your mindset and know you've got to shed those pounds.

Tips on getting started on shedding those pounds:

    1. Slowly but gradually, start doing some form of physical exercise.

    2. Improve your diet by avoiding sugary and processed foods.

    3. Avoid eating too much especially before you sleep (stop eating around 7pm).

    4. It increases your metabolism to eat 6 small meals a day, in 3 hours intervals.

    5. Curb your cravings with water.

    6. Snack on healthy alternatives like fruits and salads.

Good luck and well, if you need any more help, you can always drop me an email :)

  10. I think you should ask yourself how you really feel about your body. And determine what's your perfect weight cause that's the weight you must focus on. Feel good and do all the things you like that might help you loose weight. Don't starve yourself and find healthy food you like,  when I wanted to drop a few pounds, I started eating more fruits instead of sweets as I like them so I wasn't hungry. And increase your physical activity, again do something you love, if you find jogging boring, go dancing =) and be happy, hope that helps x

  11. I've included a website to a Body Mass Index calculator, which tells you approximately the body fat percentage that you have.

Being 240 and 5'10'' makes you, I'm sorry to say, very overweight, and in a way that is dangerously unhealthy.  Being young, your body can handle it better for longer, but that won't last.  If you don't lose weight, you run the risk of premature heart disease, extremely high cholesterol, lung problems, circulatory difficulty, and much, much more.

I don't really care what you look like.  You have a very pretty smile and you seem like a nice person, and that's most important.  The issue with the weight is that it's a serious health concern, and I doubt any of your friends or family would want something to happen to you as a result.

You haven't told me about your eating habits, just that it seems to be a lot.  Here's some things you can do:

Make a habit to go for walks with your friends, pets, family, or even by yourself if necessary.  Try to make it a brisk walk even, because it will help you lose weight a bit more efficiently.  Try to gradually increase the distances that you walk as well as the speed as it starts getting more comfortable.  Just don't push yourself too hard physically, because your heart needs to pump to get exercise, and it's your heart that's in trouble with a lot of extra weight.  If that doesn't work for you, try to get some other form of aerobic exercise in, like Tae Bo, pilates, or even with belly dancing videos.  Those are all good strength builders too.

As for food... try to buy healthy when you can.  Healthy food is just as important as the quantity that you eat.  Eating a ton of tomatoes will be far less harmful than eating a ton of cheese doodles.

Try to limit the amount of snacks that are in your house as well, and that includes all snacks, healthy or not.  Don't have food where you regularly do work or spend a lot of your time (such as at a desk working on the computer, in front of the TV, or wherever you find yourself plunking down on a regular basis).

Drink water.  No really, drink water.  It aids in digestion of food, and often times thirst is mistaken for hunger.  Instead of those snacks, keep water bottles around.  Just be careful of flavored water, because some of those are loaded with more calories and sugar than you would think.  Plain is best.  Drinking water before a meal can also stifle the amount of food you might normally eat in addition to helping your body process it.

I hope it never gets to this point, but there are also surgeries you can have done for serious weight issues, such as the Lap Band system (works wonders) or gastric bypass, but both are expensive and have dangers to them.

    Good luck.
