What I Didn't Get To Do Over Summer.
This summer I would have enjoyed going to the summer Olympics in Beijing, China. I love photography and would have taken many pictures at the opening ceremonies where there were 91,000 spectators, althletes and leaders from many countries. Maybe I could have met my favorite althete that is particapating in the Olympics this year, Micheal Phelps! It's too bad I wasn't invited!
I also would have loved traveling to the Great Wall of China this summer! It is well known that the Great Wall is one of the very few man made structures visible from space. One can travel by bus or car to several different places along the Great Wall within a few short hours.
It would have been fun if I had gone to the Beijing Zoo while on my trip to China. The zoo is famous for its large selection of pandas, which happen to be one of my favorite animals! There is also a diverse collection of animals and a number of exhibition halls. I could have taken so many spectacular pictures!
Another exciting point of interest would have been Wangfujing street.
The street has two major shopping malls.Wangfujing street is also home to a number of large department stores, souvenir stores, resturants and Chinese painting stores.
I would have gone at night, because that's when Wangfujing street turns on its increasing number of neon advertising signs.
Even though I didn't get to travel to China this summer, I still had a fabulous summer vacation!
