That is the crib I am getting.. What kind of mattress do I need?

Also, is it safe to use pack & play as a crib as a semi long term thing? (We'll have to go out of state once the baby is born so my other family can see him/her for about 2 months)

That one, and what kind of mattress (if any) will I need?

Also do you think that the colors on the pack and play are gender neutral?

  1. Okay relax it will be okay.

Mattress for cribs are mostly the same. Here is the one I have for my daughter and the twins that are on the way. So I have three of these:

The pack and plays are fine to use as a crib while you are traveling. Most parents use them the first couple months before the crib. I use mine all the time when we travel places. Just make sure that you keep all blankets and toys out of the pack and play.

*You won't need a matress for the pack and play they just have a mat that comes with them.

*The colors are very nice and neutral.

Good luck I hope I helped.

  2. you can get any kind of baby mattress that you want to go with a crib. there should be mattresses with the cribs already or around the area of the cribs...also, using a pack n play for a crib is just fine. the pack n play kinda comes with a mattress..but not really, its just a little foldable board thing with a little bit of padding, but what i do is just place extra blankets over the "mattress" thing so it feels softer and the baby can sleep more comfortable. and yes, those colors on the pack n play are gender neutral.
