I'm home alone and it's raining really hard with lightening and thunder. Its really dark outside so if the electricity goes out it will be pitch black outside. My house phone has to be plugged in since its one of the cordless ones so I won't be able to use it if the power goes out and my cell phone is not charged. I'm really scared of the dark! Help me!

  1. Just relax, everything is going to be fine.

  2. go to your bedroom and hide under your blanket

  3. Okay...

Get some candles, or a lighter.

This is what you can do if the power goes out :

1 ) Take a GLASS (not metal or plastic) cup and put paper, cotton balls and pieces of bread in it.

2)Take one of the cotton balls and light it and throw it in the cup. It will tamadge your cup, so be sure to use an old one.

OR, you could just use a candle.

    Good Luck!

  4. You need to get off the internet in a thunder storm.  Don't use the phone line or the TV.  Switch the computer off.

Read a book, it's unlikely the lights will go out.

  5. grab a bunch of flashlights and candles and put them all around the room ur in. this will help keep the room lit. just try to hold on until someone comes home!

  6. First of all.  Breathe.  Deeply.

    Find some candles.

    Batteries and a flashlight.

    You will be ok

  7. Uhm, how are we to help you?

  8. i have that same problem u should like get a flashlight and draw or write about something until it stopes raining or grab a big blanket and bundle your self up on the couch or your bed then when thunder & lighting starts again hide under them i feel more protected when somthing is around me because i feel warm and like nothing can get inside

  9. ummm... your computer is gonna go out. but use your cell. have blankets and candles and flashlights!!!

  10. Lightning rarely harms people unless their dumb enough to stand outside with a golf club in their hand. You are safest where you are. I know that the noise and rain can be scary, but just remind yourself that you will be all right. Just try the breathing mentioned above.

    Don't worry-you'll be fine.

  11. I dont know what to tell you except, if this is such a major issue for you then you need to keep your cell charged. Who are you going to call anyway? Light some candles and find the flash light.
