  1. Oh, that's easy math!

2/3 - 1/5 -4/15 is actually a very easy problem because all the denominators share a common number: 15. So you can do it this way:

10/15 - 3/15 - 4/15. You just subtract from there. The number will be negative, so remember to put the negative sign on the answer!

The next problem is a little harder, but not by much. When multiplying fractions, you don't need a common denominator. Just multiply across. But before you do any multiplying, you need to make the improper fractions into mixed numbers. It would look something like this:

5/4 times 23/9 times 9/4. That is easy! Just multiply across. That means multiply all the numerators and then all the denominators.

For the last problem; I do not think I can explain it on here in the correct way. Ask a parent or sibling about how to complete this problem; they can do it better than me!

I hope I helped you somehow! Good luck on your homework!

  2. i think you have to make the fraction into just a fraction, not a whole number. then cross multiply then reduce down to the smallest ummm numbers if they divide. keep in mind im 37 and been a long time out of school lol. i tried the second one and yea, pretty much wanted to cry lol. sorry im not more help

  3. Don't you have a calculator?
