Ok, so i like this guy SO much. I have for about 3 years now. We are really close friends, but i feel more than that. he knows and has told my friends that he LOVES me as a friend, but we are too good of friends to ruin it by going out.

I need your honest opinions-

we are going into high school this year, and things are going to change. I know i will still love him every time i see him, but for some reason i can't get over him.

he's h/u with girls since we've been friends. Every dance he comes up to me and starts a convo, but sometimes it feels like there's something, but i can't tell! He's given me his hat, he's done different things to give me signs, but i dont wanna make a fool of myself and think he likes me.

Honestly: do any of you guys, please no rude answers, think that we will end up together? ever? please help. please don't be mean.

  1. It sounds like you two are still young yet. Going into HS you are 14-15 yrs old. There is plenty of time for you to get to know how you really feel for each other. It may be hard for you, but if he is saying he is just friends then do not dwell on the what if factor. Live your life, still be his friend but see other guys. It it was meant to be, eventually he'll realize what a good thing he has with you. Love something, set it free, if it comes back, it was meant to be. I forgot who said that, but it held true for me. I too was in a similar situation, I am now married to my true love, best friend. So it is possible he will come to you. Give him time and space. Good luck it is not easy.

  2. Well, Doggies!  What a predicament you're in!  In one of your more serious conversations, why don't you evplain to him that you like him very much & would like to know how he feels about you?  You realize when you both reach high school - both your interests will be challenged - both scholastically & socailly & if he doesn't feel the same way about you - then you need to move on for a more personal relationship with someone else.  You could still keep him as a 'friend', as he seems to presume.  Life is way too short to fret over insignificant relationships.  Good Luck.

  3. Just tell him that you like him... We hate when women think that they're gonna ruin the friendship for that... GO AHEAD!!
