Please help me! Is this a wrong thing to do?

Ok first of all please answer me seriously. PLEASE! i dont want any joking around. Ok. Well my aunt came here for like 5 days from New York to see us. On the next sunday which she wont be here till, is her birthday. So the last day, which was today, my mom gave her a ring that a friend of my mom gave to my mom and it was very special to her, so she gave it to a special person for her Birthday. She said that she couldnt afford a really nice one, so she gave her this silver one. Is this wrong? To give a very special thing to a very special person? And im just thinking should my mom tell my aunt that it was given to her by a friend and that its really special or not?

no youre mom did a very good thing, and its very nice and sweet of her, she doesnt have to tell your aunt that the ring was given to her by someone else.. unless she wants to, but really doesnt have to.. it was nice of her to do so.. and its not wrong at all..

well wrong and right is subjective darling especially in things of the sort .. i mean things that are not set by god or mentioned in holy books .. so in such an issue the right thing to do is what your mom feels comfortable in doing .. she has her own reasons which may differ from yours.. i hope i am clear enough.. trust her though to be making right choices..

I think I understood your question.  Well what I understood was your aunt recieved a ring.  That makes it hers.  Plain and simple.  So she may do whatever she likes with it.
