Please help me. My dad pass away this year in 2007. I need to find his life ins policy.?

How do you know he had any life insurance?  If you don't, the only way to find out would be to go through his personal records to see if there are policies there or records of premium payments.

Ummm.... you should know this. The company he worked for might have some answers or call his car insurance company...

Are you the legal executor of his estate?  If not, you can't do a blessed thing.  If he named you as beneficiary anywhere, then the check will be made directly payable to you, unless you're a minor.

If you ARE the executor, check with his employer first, then his bank second, to see who he's been paying every year for the insurance.  Be aware there is no database of policies you can search.  You CAN pay $75 to MIB (email me if you want the website) and they will give you a list of applications that were received on him in the past ten years, and you can search that way, too.   But the banking records is the easiest, cheapest way to find out.
