  1. only 43? i was in 8th grade last year. i could throw 60 the farthest.

  2. OK, I actually coach quarterbacks, but on a team that primarily ran, but no matter what here are some things you should know...

#1 any dork can chuck a rock 43 yards, it takes a brain to be a quarterback.

    #2 Most young teams run.

#3 Most important is footwork, to throw a ball you need a good base.

    So things to work on...

#1 practice the center QB exchange, yeah it's pretty g*y sticking your hands right up against another dude's balls but u can't run a play until you perfect the exchange.

#2 The 3, and 5 step drops, you can do this with out the ball, it's hard to show on paper, so watch guys like Peyton Manning and perfect those moves, you want good hard but light steps.

#3 Aim, so 43.3 yards is good but aim, aim at tree, tire, window whatever, and hit your target from different angles. Then try it while running left and right.

#4 The hand off, and pitch, and option, remember pop warner, middle school, and junior varsity most places will run, and there's so many ways to do  run play, and each one is different so get  buddy and practice handing off, jog up and down working on the option pitch.

Good luck and hope it works out for you.

    Good luck to you.

  3. If you go to a High School with a Spread Offense all you need is an arm attached to a torso and you can be a QB
