Please help me convince my mom?

my girlfriend invited me to go on vacation with her to the dominican republic for one week. the only problem is my mom is saying that i cant go because that week is prep week for my final exams and she doesnt want me to go at that time. ive already told her that if i keep my grades up as high as possible i can for sure pass the exams.

last year my highest grade was a C, and i didnt even study for the finals and i passed all of them.

she is still not convinced that this will work. i would give anything to go on this trip. please help me convince my mom into letting me go.

It depends how old you are and how much your mum has to pay.

If you're under 18 and your mum has to give you money- even just spending money- sorry, she's in charge and you must do as she says.

If you're over 18 and have a job as well as school so you can pay your own way your mum doesn't have a say. Just go.

If you're under 18 and you're getting C's in school then honestly, you're better off studying. I'd be embarrassed if I was getting C's at that age. Go study and maybe if you get into a good university your mom will send you on a nice trip after high school.
