Well as of right now I have to make all the plans for my baby shower, My husband and his parents are tech. throwing it but I am picking a date and who will come and going with my husband to pick out other stuff I want.

I am due In Feb. So I have to have my shower around holidays. I want it in either Dec. or Jan. My birthday, my dads birthday, my real mothers, birthday, and Christmas is all the end of Dec. so can't get too close to then. I lost my son at 20 weeks pregnant on Jan. 10th so that is a bad day, if it was in Jan. it would have to be the 10th or 11th so the day or day after his death anniversary. The week after that isn't good and the weeks after that I am toying with time and will be huge and miserable and I want the babies room set up early in case the baby comes early (the doctor said the baby is progressing faster than normal)

So it has to be in the beginning of Dec. or Jan 10th or 11th. So I was thinking for it to be the first weekend or second weekend of Dec. But it might be too hectic then (not sure) There is just so much going on in these months... that is why I'm starting to plan early because I will be pretty busy through out the next 4-5 months.

Please help and give advice on when you think I should have the baby shower. This all is hurting my brain and please don't say I am thinking about it too early because there is so much to be done before then and just so much things planned before then I want to plan ahead of time and one step at a time so I'm not going crazy closer to the day. And I know it will fly by.

Thank you in advance for your help.

  1. I would say around the start of December or the end of November.

    Good luck hun.

    And congrats

    =D

  2. How about the Sunday after thanksgiving? the hussell & bussell  of it is over ,,Stores are having Start of Christmas sales,     early shoppers who are your guests could possibly get some really good buys on things you need. and be doing their own shopping at the same time. It is far enough away from the holidays, as to not make you or your guests feel put upon. early enough to give you some peace of mind  knowing what you have, & still need to get and time to put it all together, and also far enough away from your sad time, so your frame of mind will be in a better place, and you can truly enjoy it and your family & friends

  3. do it in the beginning of december. two months before it due.

my baby was born on jan. 14th :)

i did mine in november because we still have alot to do.

still put stuff up and buy up the rest of what u needed that u didn't get.

good luck and keep my in mind when u decided!
