Please help me figure out a problem with a 1988 honda trx 125?

I have a 198 honda trx 125 and i need plastics for it and was wondering if i can only put the plastics of another 125 on it or will a 250 body fit on it? Thanks!!!

  1. This is where modification is recommended.  If you are unable to locate the original panels, I recommend you talk to one of the guys at the Honda service station.

    They would know real well which model (whose spares are currently available) would be a close match for your bike.  If you get some good answers; half your job is done.  Then its a question of some nimble assembly work with a little ingenuity thrown in.  And ...  the result would be a bike that looks almost new !


  2. The TRX125 shared a relatively similar body style with the TRX200 from the same years.  Front fenders from the 200 might work with some mods.  The rear fenders would need to  be the 125, since the seat attaches to the fenders.

    Maier Plastics did make aftermarket (cheaper) plastic for the 125, I don't think they do now, but sometimes you'll see sets for sale on eBay for not much $$.
