Please help me find a book?

I'm looking for books that are...not quite odd, but different.

I like books and stories like The Red Masque of Death, Peeps, The Raven, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Mark Twain...

Steam-punk, Gothictorian, gothic,neo-Victorian, and mystery are all types of genres that appeal to me. Hopefully people will get what kind of books I'm looking for and can help me out.

Please, no Twilight.
