Please help me find a dress for...?

HOMECOMING! I know that its not for like 2 months but i just want to have an idea of what to get. I just need some examples of dresses. Please don't link me to a website like macys, I need to see specific dresses. Do most people wear long or short dresses to homecoming? Do girls get their hair done or leave it down. The theme is Underwater FantaSEA so what color dress should I get? If it helps I have dark brown hair and light skin. Please help me, I'm a freshman and I am really confused on what to buy for homecoming!

Well...

Most girls wear shorter dresses to homecoming. With that type of theme everyone, and I mean everyone, will have a blue, green, aqua, teal dress. So you have to decide: Do I want to match everyone else and go with the theme or do you want to stand out but go against the theme?

For hair: Most girls get their hair done. What looks good on anyone: Half up and half down curly look with curly wisps.

my idea of a homecoming dress is like a prom dress that is shorter.

i got mine at dillards, but you could also get one a store like macys or jcpennys.

Well if it's an underwater sea theme then I'd get an aqua, green, or coral dress. As for the length I'm not exactly sure considering I'm a freshman too, but I'll try and help you out on some dresses. =)

Hi usually girls for homecoming would wear a short dress and they also would normally get your hair done.

I think you should get a blue sparkly dress because since your theme is underwater blue would be the best color. I know Betsey Johnson has some great dresses but are very expensive so here are some links to some dresses that might be good =)

most girls wear short, but classy dresses.

it depends on your personal style. i dont think color matters, just pick a color that looks good against your skin tone. some girls get their hair done, but if you have nice healthy air, you can easily do it yourself and i think that hair looks better down with dresses.

since it is underwater....i am guessing most girls are going to do something blue...whether it is turquise, light blue, dark blue, or just plain blue.  If you want to stand out do a light coral...it will look pretty and match the theme.  You could also do gold because that is like the sand and will really sparkle.   Everygirl in my school wears short dresses at the knee so i would go with that and if you show up and everyone is wearing long? so what you just stand out even more...also alot of girls in my school jsut straigten their hair because it is not a major dance...you can always put it in a loose side pony tail and curl that, you can do it yourself and it will look very nice! idk your price range so i am not going to look for one for you look on jessica mclintock .com she has really nice dresses.  I always find if you dont go looking for a specific color you will find a perfect dress for you...just try to stay away from blue trust me everyone will be wearing that!  Hope I helped you (best answer is nice) ohh and try on a dress that looks really ugly on the hanger thats how i found my prom dress...i just tried it on as a joke and i wound up getting it

since its fantaSEA id get a SEA colored dress and go short cuz it gets HOT in the gym/cafeteria! prom is really special and u get my hair makeup and nails done for all of them but if thats out of your bugdet then have ur mom/sister/friends do everything! its lots of fun either way! but i dont think you should be stressing about a prom thats in 2 months! more llik 2 weeks! but what ever floats ur boat, lol! this was one of my prom dresses for an idea: http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t202/...

i would get ur hair done at a salon or something search like homecoming dresses and they usuall give u a bunch of things to click on. I am sure u will find something nice
