Please help me find contests that I could enter for scholarships, cash, or other rewards.?

I am an 8th grade student. I am good at writing, essays, poetry, engineering, art, and other various talents. I also live in Missouri if you know of any state competitions. Please help me find some contests. AND NOT ANY TEAM EVENTS!!!

Other ways to find scholarships is to definitely check with your counselor and ask of any scholarships either locally or nationwide. My senior year, my counselor had a HUGE folder of scholarships that you could apply to according to your criteria.

When you're in your senior year and apply for college, many colleges will have their own scholarships that you can apply for. I'm going to Kent State University in Ohio, and they have a whole website dedicated to their own scholarships that they give to incoming and current students.

Scholarships are easy to find, but much harder to earn. Keep in mind that if you keep your grades up, you'll automatically be given scholarships a lot of the time because of your grades. I had a 3.75 GPA and I'm getting about $3,000 in scholarships toward $4000 tuition for this semester JUST based on my grades (the rest is paid with financial aid (grants) and loans).

Good luck! I'm sure if you're truly multi-talented, you'll find at least a couple scholarships before you graduate.

Enroll in fastweb.com. They will send you email alerts letting you know what you qualify for. They actually sent me WAY too much on scholarships than I could ever fully complete. Its really great and free. Oh and no spam.
