Please help me finish the sentence "CULTURE IS..."?

Question

A group of people in your neighborhood may have a different "culture" than a group of people that live in the country, or in a different state, or a different country.

Personally, I do not feel that culture has to do with race or religion. I feel it is more of a mindset, or educational background.

Yet I am trying to finish this sentence and need some thoughts.

What IS culture? Not a definition, but your gut instinct.

I understand the definitions of culture.  But when I, personally,  think of the word 'culture', the first thing that comes to mind is the lifestyle of a people as determined by a blend of its heritage and its current needs.

I think culture is a conglomeration of all the aspects of life not essential to survival (i.e. entertainment, *fine* dining, music, beliefs, etc.) that draw people together collectively.

Sometimes that takes on a racial tone, when members of a race choose to surround themselves with similar interests.  Or it can be a matter of age, as in youth culture.  Or it can be nationwide or worldwide.  

That's the cool thing about culture, is that it knows no boundaries, is fluid and can evolve over time.

different culture would actually be redundant, coz, ultimately, culture for me is the "distinctive" way of living of every individual or the race as a whole..
