Please help me get rid of maggots in my kitchen

I have maggots coming out of the top of my kitchen cabinets, not just one, many, when i come home from work, in the morning when i get up, there are at least 15. i am a very clean person, i have been living in my apt for 1 year and this just started 2 weeks ago.i believe they might be coming from another apt, can someone please tell me how to get rid of them?

they may not be maggots, but the caterpillar of Indian Meal Moths that crawl away from their food source to pupate into a small moth...check the cabinet dry foods for contamination.  The worm will leave a webbing in the food it is eating.

We had that happen too.lf they are about 3/4'' to 1 '' long and look like a peice of spagetti and brownish red at 1 end they are lndain meal moths. They creeped me out ! Big time !! lol. Get rid of all your cereal, grains ect..We called an exterminator to spray for them. Someone brought over some pantry goods and just to be nice we accepted them. Thats how we got them. Good Luck
