Question:

Please help me i don't know what to do.!

So much has gone on today that i just don't know what to do.

I broke up with my boyfriend, made him cry, and he almost killed himself while i was talking to him earlier.

I felt so bad about it that i started talking to my friends and they just keep saying that he needs "help"

I don't know what made me do it, maybe it was the fact that he sliced his arm with a knife and almost hit a vein because "he ahd nothing better to do", but i went into my room and i had a blde hidden from a while ago and i cut my arm a few times.

the cuts weren't very long maybe about like that--> ___ <-- that long.

and i bit my thumb as heard as i could, bruised it and could have broke it if i had kept going.

I don't know what to do. My one friend keeps telling me i need to stop hurting myself but its the only way i can get it out.

he suggested stress balls and screaming and punching my pillow but it has to hurt me or it doesn't do anything.

plz help me, what should i do. i can't keep going like this.

and don't say i need to get therepy or something lik that cause its not happening

  1. Punch a wall! I did it once and it hurt my hand really bad. If you have to hurt yourself like you say, then you can get your anger out, while hurting yourself. Please stop inflicting pain on yourself though! Life&#039;s too short to be depressed, make the best of what you got! Good Luck, I hope this helps! : )


  2. Well i dont think you&#039;ll respond to this but are you doing this over him?

    I understand that its very very very very very hard when stress becomes like a monstor thats taking you over, but i can garantee that you have had bigger problems than him that you have not done such a thing like this for. Try to think about how if something like this gets to you, than you&#039;ll some how have to make yourself stronger for worse things that come along. I&#039;am not trying to encourage this, you need to try a couple things:

    1. Research what happens to people who do this to themselves to understand what kind of affect its having on you.

    2. Cry. cry. And then cry some more. Let it all out and just dont stop until you want to.

    3. Write in a notebook (like letters) how much hate and anger you have towards something or someone and then dont send it and throw it away or flush it. you&#039;ll be getting rid of ( or flushing away) your anger and hurt.

    He&#039;s doing something called emotional blackmail, and you&#039;re just jumping on an unhealthy bandwagon.  Get a freaking journal for your feelings

  5. just because he&#039;s doing something stupid and immature because he wants attention doesn&#039;t mean you should hurt yourself too. try boxing karate or something. see im in boxing and it HURTS but its also fun and you dont look wierd for hurting yourself.

  6. a lot of times people cut because they feel surppressed emotions and often guilty, you have to think to yourself &quot;why am i doing this?&quot; and really find the root of that problem, then you confront that problem. talk to somebody when you are not happy and also it will really help to see a therapist because they are there to listen and they will work with you to find more effective ways of coping.

    good luck and hopefully it will all work out, and in times where youre feeling sad or angry, hang in there.
