  1. Call that vet. This is what you need to do. There may be something seriously wrong with this horse. Horses are always eating, it's required for survial. When one refuses food, it's a symptom. The vet will be best able to advise you.

  2. Lusitano, once again you have taken the words right out of my mouth!  People need to be calling the vet when there is something wrong.  Not posting a question on a website.  Without being a vet, or at least being able to SEE the animal in question, there is NO WAY we can help you!

  3. if i was you i woulld just call the vet, but irst get her really nice and cllean and muk out the stble n stuff so the vet is impressed and sees that you do take good care of her..

  4. first i would start by writing down everthing that she has eaten that you know of. ( like if she's gone out the the pasture and had grass) The call your vet if anything isn't unusual. (make sure you have when trhis started, what she's eaten, how much she has drank, and how she's acting differently.) Either take her to the vet if you can, or really you should have the vet come to you if at all possible. hope i've helped.

  5. YOU NEED TO CALL A VET. THE HORSE COULD BE COLLICING. YOU NEED TO KEEP WALKING IT AND DON'T LET IT LAY DOWN. DON'T FEED THE HORSE GRAIN. EVEN IF THE HORSE SEEMS TO FEEL BETTER, IT'S STOMACH COULD RUPTURE AND IT WILL DIE. I've had a horse die from a ruptured stomach. My horse was a friesan.

  6. Any time you have an urgent medical question (and not eating is urgent), you need to call the vet.  The vet will be able to tell you whether or not the problem is serious enough for him/her to come out to take a look.  Please don't waste your time on YA asking for veterinary advice.  While there are many knowledgeable people here, none of them are vets and none of them know or can see your horse.  Turn off the computer and call.

  7. Depends on how long it's been that she hasn't been eating...sometimes the heat will just throw them off their feed...I would pull the grain away from her, keep good quality grass hay in front of her 24/7 and make sure you notice how much she is eating and not eating.  Have you moved a stable mate away or changed stalls on her...turn her out more and let her see the other horses...when you feed them on one side of the fence, feed her on the other...if she doesn't eat then, you should definitely call your vet out immediately...is she running or laying down a lot?  Lots of things to notice and take notes of before you call the vet so that he/she has something to go on...

  8. i would take her to the vet. she could have soemthing wrong with her.

  9. take her to the vet

  10. I am astounded that you are asking this question. CALL THE VET.  I can't believe this especially as one of your other questions states how you are a VERY experienced trainer blah blah blah.  I don't know you from Adam but it makes me think that you must be at least stretching the truth about who or what you are.

  11. call the vet

  12. If you have a horse you will also have a vet , go see him , he will know whats wrong ;o)

    Di xx

  13. try a different kind of food.

maybe she just doesnt like it.

if that doesnt work, call the vet, they will know whats wrong :)

  14. Right.  You own that website and all those horses and you don't know the answer to this question.

Go ahead.  Pull the other leg.

  15. Call the vet over.

  16. Call the vet.

  17. Hey, try adding a handful of mint leaves or 15-20 grams of dried mint to her feed to add a better taste and change she'll love it!

but if she doesn't i recommend you get a vet for a quick check up!

but make sure she isn't suffering from depression or something!

horses agree well with remedies along side the normal medicines!

    i hope this helped!!
