Question:

Please help me i think i have a serious anxiety problem.. what do you think...?

Ok whenever i am really excited or nervous about something i get so sick to my stomach and ussually end up not going because of these feelings

sometimes a even throw up due to my nervousness

i over analyze everything and even over stupid things like telling a girl i like her hair i will freak out for like days because i will be like omg she prob thinks im L*****n now.. and this always happens to me everyday

my first encounter with anxiety started when i was 8..

i thought i had cancer and this made me so nervous every night

i would feel so sick (because my nerves took over my body) and the sick feeling i thought was cancer when it was really my anxiety

i am really sick of this always happening

everytime befor i go on vacation i am always sick and have a lot of diareah because of my nerves

if i do have a problem what do i do?? please help me??

sometimes it scares me that my body is like this??

any advice will help

  1. It definitley sounds like anxiety. It can cause all those nervous feelings which leads to increased bowel movements and flu like symptoms (nausea and vomiting.) I have had anxiety since May of last year and never really got nervous because I was just always anxious causing different symptoms. Everyones symptoms are different but yours definitley fit. I went to my dr and told her my problems and she put me on medication which was doing wonders UNTIL about May of THIS year when I found out I was pregnant.. That put a damper on my anxiety and medication use which then caused my anxiety to skyrocket. You can do this though and there is something out there that will help you whether it be therapy, medication, exercise, eating certain foods, taking something natural like an herb and what not. You can get over this. Try not to worry about they symptoms your body gets.. I check my pulse religiously and then I relax knowing that hey I may feel real crappy but at least I'm still breathing and have a pulse!! Sounds stupid but there are things like that that can ease your mind a little. Good luck!!


  2. Go see a psychiatrist and get on some medications for the anxiety and panic attacks.  I suffer from them and am on some great medications which have all but eliminated them.
