Ok, so I've been in college for 2 years now pursuing my AAS in Business Management. I am almost half way through my degree with only 3 semesters left. My heart was in it in the beginning just not so much now. I withdrew from all of my classes last semester because my father passed away. I also just cannot get through my math class it's introduction to college algebra and it is just confusing. I don't really have time for outside help like tutoring. If i'm not at school i'm at work. The way I see it is if I can't get the hang of this math class I still have to take the class above this one for my degree. I have thought about changing my major but, I don't want all of my credits I have worked for 2 years to get to be for nothing. Does anyone have any advice as to what I should do. Have you been in the same situation? What did you do? If i were to pursue another degree I'd have to go out of town. our local college doesn't have anything else I am interested in. Anyway, Thanks in advance...

  1. You've been working on an Associates for 2 years, and still have 3 semesters left? You need to work harder.

  2. Well most all AAS degrees require the same college level math, so your stuck taking this math class and the one higher.  Your basics should transfer, like your English's and things like that, so if you find another AAS degree at the same college you wont have to start from the very start.  Do you think that your heart is not in it because of the math class, or do you think its cause you dont want to do the Business Management program? Maybe you should sit down, and look at all the majors your school has to offer.  If you find something you would rather do, talk to a counselor about which credits can transfer to the new major.
