I am a stay at home mom and I recently decided to get my Broker's License (I have had my salesperson license for several years) so that I could run my own business outside of my home. My goal is to find other moms (men too) who want to be able to contribute to their family financially by selling real estate on their own schedule. First thing first though, I NEED A CATCHY NAME

  1. When I look at the names of the real estate companies in my area, most of them are not catchy. For example, Assist2Sell is downright tacky, but it tells it like it is. ReMaxx is another not-catchy-kinda-tacky one. Century21...eh. Wissahickon Realty is just a local name. (There's a Wissahickon street, creek and park here.) Lots of brokerages named after the broker (Jones Real Estate). You'd certainly have an advantage if your company's name stood out - you wouldn't have much competition that way.

Since you're in St. Louis and the big landmark there is the Gateway Arch, maybe something like Gateway to Home Realty? Or Gateway City Realty? Silverarch Real Estate?

Or, since MO is the Show Me state, Show Me Homes?

Maybe convey something like reliability, superior service, the stability of houses, or some other attribute that buyers want when they buy homes, in your name, or just give a feeling of class in the name. Windsor Real Estate, for example.

Maybe a slogan to go along with a name would make it catchier. "We're there when you want us to be." (meaning, your part-timers can show homes in the evenings and on weekends, when 9-5 workers have time to see them.)

Back to my local real estate companies: some of their logos are memorable, even if their names aren't. One uses a pineapple, which is often used in Colonial furniture and architecture, so it conveys that kind of thing. Wissahickon Realty uses a squirrel. Nothing to do with real estate, but everyone knows the squirrel. Another uses a house.

How about Castle Arch Real Estate, We help you find your castle, with a logo of a small castle with a silver arch in the door frame? It needs toning down. How about Casas and Castles?

    Hope this helps. Good luck!
