Please help me on my tangerine book project (7th grade)?

I'm reading the book tangerine and now i have to do project on it! Can someone please tell me the the highlights of the book and the details that are important to know? the project is: write about the things you have in common with the characters, events, people, problems, etc.

If the project is all about how you relate to the book, then you've got an easier project ahead of you than you think! I'm afraid no one on Yahoo Answers is going to be able to help you on this one: if the project is about you, then you know better than all of us!

After each chapter, I'd suggest writing down the answers to these questions: What is the main goal of the main character in this chapter? What is the biggest problem the main character faces in this chapter? What new problems have arisen? What problems have already been solved?

Then, fold a paper in half to make a list of "your life" and "the main characters life." Add something to the "your life" list, such as, "I live with 2 siblings." Then, in the next column, write down if the main character shares that with you or does not. If you make a list like this for each character, problem, and context, you've got your whole report right there!
