What do you think is the ultimate dress cord? this was not indicated on the invitation cards. i don't want to look out of place. Should it be an office suite, Jeans or what?!

Can't go wrong with a skirt suit to be honest! Or a dress with matching jacket.  You might get some clues from where its being held too.

If it's day time or early evening go smartly dressed as in a business suit (jacket/skirt or business trouser suit). If it's in the evening much would probably depend if it's dinner or just a sort of cheese/nibbles and wine affair. If dinner it can't be totally formal of it would have advised on the invitation but I would dress up a bit as it nice trousers and top, dress or skirt and top. If just a cheese and wine type thing it is likely to be more early evening and they would expect people to arrive as they have been dressed for work.
