Please help me out of this mess?

Question

i have a Dial up modem by the name and model -conexant ACF External PnP v92 Data Fax Voice Speakerphone Modem. I have Win xp installed on my old pc whenever i am installing this modem there is this message saying that the driver for the modem has not passed win xp logo testing so this may result in malfunctioning of the modem i pressed ''continue anyway'' button after successful installation when i rebooted the pc the modem was not working and i had to redo the whole installation process again pls how can i get this thing solved how can i get the driver for the modem that has passed win xp logo test pls help me! everu time i have install the modem again after every reboot.

Download Driver from

Uninstall the existing driver

Restart

Install the new driver

Restart

hey buddy....

i guess the possible reason for ur problem cud be.....that u may hav installed it on the wrong port....i also use encountered such problem...in my initial days of net. nyway...how do u knw...that ur modem is not wrking???

Check the compatibility of the driver for win xp

try to install a software which is for the hardware and compatible with xp
