  1. The first thing you need to realize is that you are so young and have more time in front of you than you think.  If you lost a year - or even 2 - it's nothing in the scheme of things.  Dennis Rodman was like 25 when he came into the NBA.  Josh Hamilton of the Texas Rangers - and the best player in the American League - lost 2 or 3 years to drugs.  Just lost them.

You have the time.  Now it is time to set goals and figure out your process.  Losing weight and getting in shape is the easy part.  That just takes an hour a day - every day - of running/walking/biking and some dryland exercises.  Seriously, you could wake up at 7 work out for an hour and by 8 am start your day - already having worked out.

School School School School  - figure our where you are, and where you need to be and get it done.  You don't have to go to LSU at 18 to go to LSU.

You can do it.  Understand that.  Now plan how.

    Good luck.

  2. 1) confidence. don't be afraid to take risks and always give your best.

    2) self control. if you want to lose weight, don't eat too much and make sure you practice basketball everyday.

    3) organization. keep a schedule in which you can follow and find out the steps you need to take in becoming a WNBA player.
