Please help me...(:?

Question

i bought an acer laptop over a year ago, and i was nvr really concerned about the empowering technology widgets. but i was trying to figure out how to use it today, and there are no widgets on the toolbar (there are no icons)

i went to widget setup, and there are also no widgets available there either. so how do i get them to appear?

if it helps any, i have windows vista

u got a cd with the comp right use it and reboot it but first save your data on the gigabite thing plug it in and save it in the profile after reboot it and u will see no problem and plug the thing in and put the data in the rebooted comp and u will see no problem

You should be able to go to Add/Remove programs and select the option to add/remove Windows components.  Also, check and see if a drivers and applications disc was included with the laptop, they may be on there.
