Please help me!!!!!!!!!!?

Question

ok.. so im 15 and going into 10th grade.

i havent started my period yet. im not at all concerned that it hasnt started yet.. im just afraid of bein embarassed if it starts during school. what r some ways 2 help prevent the potential embarassment

i figure that the older i get without it starting the more embarassing it will become if it starts during school

plzzhelp!!

Make sure that in your locker or bag, that you carry a little make up bag or purse where you can keep pads or tampons in case you do start at school. Then you can just go and fetch one and your sorted! You may want to keep a spare pair of underwear in that bag too in case it's a bit messy down there but I thought it would be too embarrassing if someone found a pair of knickers in my bag at school! When you first start it usually isn't too heavy so it shouldn't be a huge sticky mess like you are probably thinking! It will just be a little bit of blood in your underwear. Just keep calm and maybe tell your friend discretely and she could help you.

Every woman is different when it comes to that. If your that worried about it then carry at least panty liners with you. That way if you do start you have something to use. Your not likely to start bleeding real bad at first so a liner will hold just fine til you can get home.

If it helps any I understand I was in High School wearing light colored shorts and it went through. I didn't start at school but my pad at that time leaked. So I understand about you thinking of the embarrasement. I switched to tampons after that incident.

Good luck and don't rush it. Your body knows when it's ready to drop this horrible thing on you. I speak for every woman when I say that. Believe me it's nothing to look forward to. But you'll be alright with all of it.

Well, it usually starts slow, like spotting, so it's not likely that it'll come in a gush and you'll have a huge stain.

Carry pads/tampons in your purse or bookbag. And you can always wear daily panty liners if the idea of it starting at school really bothers you.

put a little bag in your backpack with tampons/pads (whichever you're most comfortable with).

when you first start your period almost nothing comes out, so it won't stain your clothes or anything.

if you have cramps or you think you might get your period go to school with a panty-liner just in case.

first of all, if you get this weird feeling like it might start, take all precautions. if you just wanna be sure, wear a pantiliner in case it were to start, that way it would protect you. you cant even feel it
