In the mid-90's, I checked out a book from the Duluth Public Library while I was in college. The book was probably pretty new at the time, from the 90's at least. I'm afraid I don't have much detail to go on, but it was a fun book. What I remember, there was a teenage boy, and an adult man, I think they were father and son. And the book was very random, a lot of pop culture stuff. I seem to remember the son talking about Trent Reznor a lot. I thought it might be a Douglas Coupland book, based on the style, but none of the descriptions of his books fits. I don't remember what the goal or what happened at the end. The father and son just went through life talking about pop culture stuff, and other random stuff (there might have been a hint of sci-fi in there too). I'm sorry I don't have more to go on. Random, and very 90's style is all I can really think of when I think back on the book. And I'm pretty sure the kid talks about Trent Reznor a lot. I would appreciate any help, any insight into this. I'd love to read the book again! Thank you!!!
