Please help me solve this equation...?

I absolutley have NO idea how to solve it.

11-x/4=4

if its (11-x)/4 = 4

you would multiply both sides by 4 to give you

11-x = 16

subtract 11 from both sides would give you

-x = 5

which means x = -5

if your equation is 11 - (x/4) = 4

subtract 11 from both sides

that would give you -(x/4) = -7

multply through by -4

and that would give you x = 28
