How do i remove the cover to get to the battery on this thing, i'm totally clueless

On the back of the phone you should have a silver square. You should not have to press hard on it. You press down on the square and try to slide it away from the phone. The lower cover slides down. Hopes this helps. Be aware if you remove the cover to many times it will be difficult for the cover to stay on after.

Simply download the phones manual and it will have photo illustrations and detailed instructions on how to remove the back casing...you can also watch youtube vids on how to do it.
