Is an 18yr old allowed to date an 17 yr old in the u.s? I think the 17 yr old would be considered minors, but I wasn't really familiar with the laws that much.

its ok to date but s*x could be illegal unless they go to school together

when will the 17 yr old turn 18? If he/she just turned 17 then yes there may be a problem.

Dating is always legal, regardless of their ages.

s*x would be legal in most States, but not in all (The age of consent, in America, varies by State)

It depends on the state. I live in Rhode Island and it is legal for any person 16 or older to date whomever they wish because it is the age of consent.

Try googling your state and "age of consent" and see what comes up. It should clarify legal ages.

It would vary from state to state each state has it's own set of laws but then again there is nothing wrong with dating
