A block is released on a frictionless inclined plane of angle (theta) construct a free-body diagram for the system and then solve for the acceleration of the block after it is released.

Sum up all of the forces, both the x-component and the y-component. There only seems to be a normal force and a gravitational force. The acceleration is g*sin(θ).
