Please help me to avoid online scams while shopping online.dyscern.com???

i found this really nice deal on the website store.dyscern.com and i wasn't sure if it was a scam. i tried looking it up on site advisor and i cound't get it. could any one help me to know if its legit or its an online scam to take my $300.

i visited the site and it looks good to me. my address bar didn't turn green and i don't think that has anything to do with a site being a scam or anything.
