Please help me with Ms paint?

Hi! I make banners on Ms Paint, but could someone please tell me how I can take the white off a picture. Like I want to use a certain background, and a picture, but the picture usually has white around it, or a background. I know I can fill it with paint, but I don`t want a colored background. I want the background I have. Can someone please tell me how I can take the white off the picture. Thank you! :-)

using the star lasso tool, also with transparent option on, this allows you to copy item from white background, and paste over with transparency on new window, over new background of choice,

shrink the canvas size.... or get photoshop!

If you click the selection tool of the tool box, you will find two additional boxes open below it. Click the lower one befor pasting your photograph ove your background. If still there are "whites" around the photo, they are actually low grey pixels. I'm afraid there is no easy way to remove them using MSPaint. You have to clean them individually before pasting the photo.
