Please help me with Polk County, FL school. I'm so devastated. ?

I had to have spine surgery this past year and I couldn't come back to school. I took homeschool on FLVS.net and I JUST finished my last class ( I had to do 18 weeks worth of work in 8 weeks ) I went to have them send my transcripts to the school I"m going to this year ( whom's orientation is two days away ) and They have to mail them. I don't know what do. After being home for 6 months being under strict restriction cause of my health I want to go to school so bad. I don't even think I can go pick them up... plus someone else in my family has orientation at their school tomorrow. Does anyone know if my school will let me go on to the next level classes until I can get the transcripts? I can't print an " unofficial " one.

The only way to find out is to talk to the principle of that school. I am sure that they would make an exception for you. I know that in my school in Lee County it wasn't a big deal to miss orientation, so I think you'll be ok, but you need to talk to someone who does know how to help you this situation, so tomorrow make sure to talk to a guidance counselor or principal and make an appointment so that it can all be sorted out.

Talk to someone in FLVS because I am sure that they can fax your transcripts. When I moved from Dade County to Lee County thats what my school did. My guidance counselor just gave them a call and they faxed it right over.

You just need to stop worrying so much and get the ball rolling! Make the phone calls yourself if your parents can't and you'll see that you can figure it out!
