  1. for number 32 you need to do the 11-9+3 part first and get 5 then you add up 9+39+22 and get 70 then you divide 70 by 5 and you get 14.

for number 33 you need to do 3+4 first then do 9-7 and you get 2 then you multiply it by 5 and get 10 then you multiply 2x2 and get 4

    10+4= 14

  2. 32) 70/5 = 14

    33) 4 + 3^3 - 4 + 15

    4 + 27 -4 + 15

    27 + 15

    42

    9th grade? Wow lol.

  3. 32.) 9 + 39 + 22 / 11 - 9 + 3

    70 / 5 = 14

    33.) 2 x 2 + 3^2 - 4 + 3 x 5

    2 x 2 + 9 - 4 + 3 x 5

    4 + 9 - 4 + 15

    13 - 4 + 15

    9 + 15

    24

Are you sure that's algebra? Seems like arithmetic to me.

  4. Look, no offence, but i'm in 6th grade and i can answer that. 33 is 14.

    32 is 62

    wait, never mind

  5. Okay, I will explain as I go along:

    32.

    9+39+22/11-9x5

First you divide 22 by 11 and you get 2 so

    9+39+2-9x5

then you multiply 9 by 5 to get 45 so

    9+39+2-45

then simple math: Answer is 5.

    33.

    2x2+3squared -4+3x5

First you square 3 to get 9 so

    2x2+9-4+3x5

next you multiply 2x2 and 3x5 (separately) so

4+9-4+15 and again, simple math: Answer is 24.

The reason for doing this in the order I did is because of "Order of Operations" which is anything in Parenthesis first, second any Exponents, third/fourth Multiply/Divide (do whichever come first in problem) and fifth/sixth is Add/Subtract (again do whichever comes first in problem.  I remembered this by PEMDAS.  Your teacher might have other suggestions for you as well for how to remember it.
