Wish them luck in their future endeavors, thank the parents for patronage and volunteer work, show how far they have come in their schooling and how milestones were celebrated, they will be missed, etc.

You are a very special person

And you should know,

How I loved to have you in my care

How fast the years did go!

As through the grades you go

Try hard to learn all that you can

Search it in the internet and make sure not to let the little kiddos cry and make them laugh.

Tell the parents how each of their children became like your own.  How their smiles and laughter made your day bright.  Their ideas, creativity and stories amazed you.  How you think about their first days with you and are amazed at how far they have come not just in basic skill mastery or reciting their abc's but socially.  They are really wonderful little people.  Their accomplishments have made you so proud.  They are ready for bigger things now and it is bittersweet to see them go.
