  1. 1

  2. one

not is the only negative, problem is that it makes no sense as it's not a complete sentence.

there is no object or action associatted to clarify what you are talking about.  Did he not get his money?  Did he go somewhere for something else and not to get his money?

  3. one.

"not" is the only negative in the sentence.

  4. 1, use don't instead of not

  5. there is only one. the word NOT.

  6. One, only "not".

No, never, can't - etc are all negatives.  Yes, can, does - in respect are positives.

  7. she was probably referring to the case at hand while it is only one negative in the fragment...it may have been a joke

  8. If he said "I wasn't trying to not to get his money" then thats a double negative. So I can't imagine a triple negative.

The fragment above is just one negative, the word "not".  Only way I see an argument is the way he used it in the sentence.

  9. one - not

  10. Whole sentence is negative

  11. One.

    "not"

Something like, "We aren't never going to go there again" has two:

the "not" from aren't and the "never" .

The above sentence, by the way, is incorrect, I just used it as an example of a double negative.

  12. One  - "not"

  13. one
