  1. Cricket sucks and takes a lot of coordination. It's like baseball mixed with croket. It is a stupid sport

  2. Look on wikipedia for all the rules and stuff!

  3. www.cricinfo.com

  4. Why not write to the, MCC, Lords Cricket Ground, Middlesex, London

and ask them to send you what you wish to know, Incidentally, they are not rules in cricket, they are known as LAWS.

  5. The keepers of the law is MCC

here is the website of MCC, and the rules for cricket

    http://www.lords.org/laws-and-spirit/law...

  6. http://bjsm.bmj.com/cgi/content/full/41/...

This article explains it in a nutshell.

  7. Here's just a basic overveiw...

Bowler bowls to the batsman. Batman hits it. If the batsman hits it along the ground and it makes the boundary its a 4. If it makes the boundary without touching the ground its a 6. When the batsman hits it he and the batsman on the other end run between the wickets. If a feildsman throws it and hits the stumps while the batsman is not in the crease it is a run out. If the bowler steps his foot over the white line when he bowls it is a no ball and the opposing team get a point to the extras. If he bowls it too wide for the batsmans bat to make contact with the ball, it is a wide and one point is also added to extras. 6 bowls are bowled per over. Sorry.. this is all coming out of my limited cricket knowledge but I hope it helped xD

  8. check his websites for cricket rules

  9. Dude,

Cricket is a strategic game which shud be played with some plan. which deals with something like hw to score and hw to play the ball and hw to tackle and distract the bowler's concentration and hw to make more runs instead of giving the wicket to the bowler. The only motto in cricket is that score as much as u can and then it will be your chance to bowl out the opponent team players without reaching the target score u scored.

    This is the game.

  10. The object is to score maximum runs. The team that scores the maximum runs, wins.

Cricket is played on a circular or oval field, with a pitch in the centre, 5 yards wide and 22 yards long.

At either end are 3 sticks, called stumps.

There are 11 players to a side. At any time, one side bats, the other side fields. The batting side will have 2 players out on the field, one at each end of the pitch. One of them would be batting. This means, trying to hit the ball delivered by the opponent player from the other end of the pitch with his bat.

The fielding side has all 11 on the field. One of them will bowl, which means, he will deliver the cricket ball in an overarm action (without bending his arm) to the opponent batsman at the other end.

The bowling team tries to get the batting team out, one player at a time. This can be done by hitting the batsman's stumps with the ball during the delivery, or catching the shot from the batsman's bat before it has dropped to the ground.

When the batsman hits the ball, he and his partner start running, each to the other's end of the pitch. When each has successfully reached the other end, a "run" is scored. If the fielding team hits the stumps at one end with the ball before a batting side player has reached that end, he is also given out.

Hitting the ball out of the field (demarcated by a boundary rope) gets you 4 runs, or 6 runs, if you can clear the boundary without the ball bouncing inside the rope.

These are the basic rules framework. Of course there are more intricate details, but this is a start
