Please help me with directions in Paris?pleeeease!!?

i will arrive in Paris est train station at 6.45 and I need to get to paris montparnasse 1&2 train station by 07.45.

How far away is it and how can I get from the first station to the second station?

does anyone know of any good maps of Paris? thank you!!

Buy a Leconte "Plan de Paris" with all the metro, bus and maps you'll ever need at any news kiosk.  It's small and portable with a large pull out map of Paris in the back cover.

You need only take Metro line 4 from the Metro station at Gare de l'Est. It is very clearly marked, just follow the signs. You want the metro marked "Direction : Porte d'Orleans (General Leclerc)" and the correct platform will be indicated by signs directing you to it.

You take this Metro to the Montparnasse-Bienvenue stop. This will take 15 minutes.

When you exit the train look for signs should say "Sortie: Gare de Paris Montparnasse" or "Sortie: Avenue du Maine" as there are several exits from the Metro station, some of which will put you on the street out of sight of the station.

Hi!

Don't worry, one hour is largely enough to travel from "gare de l'est" to "gare Montparnasse".

And it's really easy : you just have to take the "4" line, direction "Porte d'Orléans" up to "Montparnasse Bienvenue".

You need 20-30 min at max.
