Please help me with my Tivo!?

My Tivo just freezes in the middle of watching or doing something . It's about a year old, and never done this before, when it does this, I have to unplug it and plug it back in.

Please help me!

Well TIVO has received a new software version and it appears to be a Glitch on the Hard Drive, we need to perform a Clear and Delete Everything this will wipe all your recordings and take it to factory default.

TIVO Central

Select Messages and Setup

Select Restart or Reset System

Select Clear and delete Everything

Warning Message Appears:

Press Thumbs Down 3 times and then press enter

Receiver will reboot

About 1 minute later, message appears:

Clearing and deleting everything, this will take an hour

The process has begun. Can take up to 4 hours

When finished, receiver will restart.

Reciever will be like Brand New. You will need to go thru the Guided Setup
