I have 4 cats, one of the males are very wild, yesterday night i heard something crying like a baby, i had no idea that frogs could cry, i was shockedd, i went downstairs and my cat was chasing a poor innocent frog who seemed like he really wanted to live.. he was running around crying sooo loud and doing anything to save his life, so i catched the frog and put him back in the pond.. he seemed so happy. i love frogs, i find them so interesting, i used to have soo many in the pond in my back garden but my cats have ate everyone of them. recently there were really cute baby frogs and my cats ate them allllll.. but anyway back to the question.. everyday this week i've woke up to a huge dead rat in my kitchen that the cats brang in, 7 frogs with only 1 leg but it was still jumping around, 2 birds, 3 mice and 2 toads also they also keep eating worms.. is this normal? by the way i have 2 boy cats and 2 girl cats, the girl cats don't harm any creatures but the male cats are terrible!!

  1. i know all about that. I have three cats. Everyday we wake up to dead lizards, birds, insects... you name it they find it and kill it and then leave them around the house. All my cats are females and not really wild ... just like to bite and chase things. They have toys and things to keep them entertained but they prefer the alive things that they can take the life out of....lol

  2. that is odd, typically its the females who hunt more

  3. They are bring presents to you, most cats do it

  4. i have two cats. they both do the same thing. its their instinct to hunt and kill. they bring them into your house. because they're proud of what they've done and they want you to be proud too. but my advice would be to get them a few toys to play with inside the house. or if you care about the frogs that much close them off from the cats.

  5. Yes, it is their instinct to hunt and kill, then bring it to you for a prize. Get your cats some cat toys to play with. And keep the frogs in a case or don't let your cats outside.... just some sacrifice you will have to make.
