Please help me with my ipod! I really need help!?

Question

I have a 30G ipod video. When I get my videos they don't play on my ipod. Neither does my podcast. It just shows up as a black screen and doesn't play anything. Or if i go to music videos on my playlist it would just play the sound and a clip of the video would be the album cover. I have my TV out, Off. But when i open itunes it plays the video on my computer. It just doesnt play it on my ipod. If i have to convert it to something what does it have to be? I read that it has to be mp4 or .mov?

I've already tryed using youtube downloader and videora converter but they both didnt work. I really need help with my ipod. If i need a new converter then can you give me the link?

I got my ipod about 3 or 4 months already and when i got it already didnt play my podcast. please help! thank you!

Maybe the tools you used doesn't work very well.

if you want to play videos on your ipod, you should convert the videos to the format that your ipod supported.

A lot of free converters, if they don't have a proper decoder and encoder attached will do a hatchet job to make it work.

I always use iSkysoft iPod Movie Converter. It can convert videos to iPod format files  with high quality and fast speed.

You can try http://vixy.net/ it works great i use all the time but this one is for when you want to download videos/ music videos from youtube.com you just cpy the url from the youtube video you want and paste it in the vixy.net thing and where it says (converts to) scroll down and click mp4 ipod,

but if you want to convert file from your computer you can try http://www.zamzar.com/ this one the file you convert  it will send it to by e-mail
